Community Based Services Department
This department promotes responses to community level action to poverty, generates and sustains community responses to government programmes by facilitating active participation of communities in the development process. Community Based Services targets communities, groups, children, NGOs, Civil Society Organizations, and Community Based Organizations. It also over sees PWDs, Youths, Women projects, CDD projects and OVC programs.

4.    Share of women in wage employment in non-agriculture sector: -40%
5.    Proportion of seats held by women in LLG councils and HLG councils: -35%
6.    Proportion of women having rights to own property (Land, household property): -30%
7.    Proportion of contracts awarded to women: -20%
8.    Number of domestic violence cases handled by probation/gender office : -256
9.    Total number of OVC: -52,281 (35.5% of children in the district)
